One strike

Every Saturday routine for Cookies, more or less fix. Tag along for the first half of the day for decoration and the rest of the afternoon have her weekly shower and afternoon time lazing around at my mum's place.

5 Jan was slightly difference. Cookies's buddy was not in town therefore she was with us the whole day. The painful incident happened. Hubby and I took her to rail mall to settle our lunch. On the way to the venue she got a kick from Hubby. Hubby commented that his leg was quite painful but Cookies had no reactions at the moment. We assumed that she was fine.

Late in the afternoon we send Cookies down to my mum's place for her weekly shower.  During late evening we got a call from my mum that she was limbing and hoping. Her right leg was injury resulted from the kick. 

That injury took her about two weeks to get fully recovered. Since the vet twice, took awful medication which she dislike the most. 

Dog owner be careful when walking your dog which is on leash.

Merry Christmas!

Its time of the year for celebration! Cookies will be celebrating her Christmas with my family as hubby and I will be away for our short trip.

Summary of  Cookies activities all these past months:
1. Cookies had an episode of severe vomiting. Refused food, treats and intake of water was very little. She had to visit the vet, Dr Quek for treatment. A blood test was done. Thank God, the test was normal. She was given glucose injection. Thereafter, she was much better. As usual it is very expensive to visit the vet.

2. Cookies sat on hubby lap while hubby was driving. I took a video of her. It was cute.

3. Had her yearly vaccination. At the same time, reviewed her skin problem as her condition was not too ideal. She is now on prescription diet. She got to stop all her treats, her favorite apple and many others food. Souring around to buy her some hypoallergenic treats for her.

4. I got long of  scratches and bruises as a result of holding her during the vaccination,

5. She celebrated her buddy birthday two days ago.

6. She is adapting well with her new food. The food make her poo very oily as well as her skin. My home floor is also a bit oily as a result of Cookies. Those spot that she sleep, sit is oily. I needed to mop the floor more often to get rid of the oily feel.

7. She also got hear infection. Every day got to run after and fight with her to administer the ear drop and oral medication. She is much better now after a few days of the medication. Before that, she will "screamed" when we touched her ear. At first we thought it was her neck. Went to the vet, wrong alarm and went back.  Later we discovered, it was her ear. She was having pain.

8. Cookies and me stayed at my mum's place while hubby was away for 12 days.

9. I got a new toy on behalf for hubby to give it to Cookies. A white bear. THe bear is very cute. I liked it a lot.

10. Cookies's buddy, took a lot of photo of her. The whole past two weeks Cookies had many car rides.

Update about Cookies

It had been a super long silence, no news about Cookies. Not to be too worry she is doing fine. There are times that she is naughty and playful. She do put on some weight on and off. Exercise are now a routine for Cookies.

Recently she had celebrated her birthday in June. She is six. Time flies really fast when we first got her she was 1.5 years old. From a skinny little one to a good size one. She has been a great company to us.
She celebrated her birthday with her favorite muffin. Other nice food such as bread bone, eclairs.
She did not received any present.

Before her birthday, my sister brought the MacDonald kitty for her. Every Saturday when she went to my mum place, my sister would present her one kitty. She would remove the plastic herself and took the kitty out from the plastic bag. My sister would video her in action.

Back Again

It had been such a long time that I managed to update on Cookies. How's she doing?
A quick summary on Cookies:
1. Recently, she was on some intensive exercise programme to reduce her weight as she put on a little. Manage to get her shape back. Now she on a rountine exercise programme.

It had been a long time since I last updated about Cookies. There was some renovation work carried out at our neighbor place. Everyday for a week, Cookies was shuttled down to my mummy's place. She was very happy about it. She enjoyed herself at my mummy's place. She was given lot of attention, lots of treats and yummy food. She had pasta with carrot and cheese for her dinner.

Last Tuesday, she sustain a fall and got a cut at her inner back leg. She was trying to chase cats. My brother was upset that her buddy, Cookies was injured. That day she stay overnight at my mummy's place as she refused to go home. Guess that it might be a bit of pain when walking. By the way she had recovered.

Saturday itself was a special day. In the morning she visited the vet. She got a mystery guest visited. That is my brother, her buddy. She was so happy to see him at the clinic, When her turn came, all of us when into the consultation room. This time round, food, treats did not work on her. She struggled away. Dr Quek, had some difficult injecting her as she is not cooperating. Dr Quek provided us with a solution. Hugged her tight and pad her head to distract her attention. This method work perfectly. Two injection was administered.

In the evening, we celebrated Cookeis's buddy birthday. This time round we tried an Australian restaurant, boomerang at Robertson Quay. The pizza and spicy wings were among the best that we ordered. The rest of the food items were average. This particular restaurant, charge cake corkage, $30. Wow that was too expensive. After the meal, we went to a nearby restaurant for a dinner and had the cake cutting.

It had been a long since I updated about Cookies. She is doing well and active, naughty at times. Put on a fair a bit of weight. Slighlty too round. Not to used to her chubby stage. Therefore she was on intense weight lost programme. Took her out for her run every day in the evening. Climbing up the hill or run around the estate. Manage to get her slim down.

Yesterday, she was not feeling too well. Vomitted a fair amount of yellowish fluid at the bushes near the play ground. There after she took a rest at the play ground. I was eager to get back as it was raining. She was smart enough to find a shelter for herself at the playground. That portion was shelter. Even though I brought along an umbrella, I still got wet. Plea with her for a while, after 10 minutes of sitting there she finally moved. Knowing that Cookies hated to get herself wet, I took the umbrella to shield her more than myself. That really funny!

Guest

We invited a few of our church friends over to our place for a meal. Took some time to get the food prepared. Nice fellowship time. A great evening! Did Cookies enjoy herself? I think she did enjoy herself.

She was pretty ok with our friends. Looking forward for some other friends to pop by again.
